The Super Bowl halftime show has had a spotted past, from last year's underwhelming Black Eyed Peas performance to the 2004 Janet Jackson debacle. But for every bad performance, there's been a knock-out from artists like Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and Prince. This year's pick, Madonna, could go either way, so we ran it by SodaHeads to find out what they think about it.

Clearly, not a lot of Madge fans in the audience. More than two-thirds of the vote shot down the material girl in favor of someone, anyone else. It's not even about her music, per se. The top comment was poignant: "Perhaps all should take a good look at what Madonna has said about America since moving to the UK." The commenter could be referring to her "American Life" album, which was accompanied by a music video that contained questionable imagery, but the consensus is that Madonna is a little too volatile and crude for the responsibility.
