Now that Britney Spears is back on top of the charts with Femme Fatale, Britney received an odd compliment from DJ Moby who recently called Spears "a broken down shell of a human being," which is what makes Spears so endearing.
In a recent interview with The Quietus, DJ Moby called Britney Spears a broken down shell of a human being, but meant it in the nicest way possible. When talking about today’s artists in music and how some turn out to be too self-involved and entitled when you meet them in person, Moby revealed that the broken qualities are what he likes about Britney Spears. "Britney's actually kind of like a broken-down shell of a human being," said Moby, "that's what makes her so endearing and compelling.
Interestingly, Moby compared Britney Spears to one of the most loved Golden Girls. "She was lovely, but really broken. Like, Blanche Dubois-style broken."
In making his point, Moby dished on who he feels are sometimes too self-absorbed. "Actually, the most entitled people I've met are indie rockers and indie actors," admitted Moby, "because they really believe their press."
